i don’t have as many nightmares and generally sleep better when i take naps during the day, but then i get so tired afterwards and it fucks with my routines so i try to avoid it. and i like routines. i like going to bed at 11 and getting up at 6 and going outside in the morning when it’s still cold and have all meals at set hours and not being tired constantly. and my normal sleeping pills do nothing currently apparently, and the strong ones will make me fall asleep if i’m lucky but then i’ll wake up an hour later or so. and the calming medication, even if i take double, just makes me slow and drowsy and not calm at all or tired. and i’ve tried valeriana multiple times but it just won’t work for me. alcohol makes me tired but then i can’t fall asleep anyway.
